Not so random trivia. Did you know that…

In art and symbolism, a crescent (US: /ˈkrɛsənt/, UK: /ˈkrɛzənt/) is generally the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge, so that what remains is a shape enclosed by two circular arcs of different diameters which intersect at two points (usually in such a manner that the enclosed shape does not include the center of the original circle).

The Moon (in Greek: σελήνη Selene, in Latin: Luna) is Earth’s only natural satellite. It is one of the largest natural satellites in the Solar System, and, among planetary satellites, the largest relative to the size of the planet it orbits (its primary).

Venus is the second planet from the Sun, orbiting it every 224.7 Earth days. It has no natural satellite.

This, in the English language, is the singular proximal demonstrative.

Morning is the period of time between midnight and noon or, more commonly, the interval between sunrise and noon.
