A valley is a low area between hills, often with a river running through it.

Ladakh (“land of high passes”) (Ladakhi: ལ་དྭགས la’dwags; Hindi: लद्दाख़; Urdu: لَدّاخ‎) is a region in the Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir that currently extends from the Kuen Lun mountain range to the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent.

India, officially the Republic of India (Bhārat Gaṇarājya), is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country with over 1.2 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world.
