Galle (Sinhalese: ගාල්ල;Tamil: காலி) is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated on the southwestern tip, 119 km from Colombo.

A beach is a landform along the coast of an ocean or sea, or the edge of a lake or river. It usually consists of loose particles, which are often composed of rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, or cobblestones.

Lanka /ˈlæŋkə/ (Sanskrit lankā “island”) is the name given in Hindu mythology to the island fortress capital of the legendary demon king Ravana in the epics of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.
