At 3,255 feet, Sgùrr Alasdair is the highest peak of the Black Cuillin, and the highest peak on the Isle of Skye.

Binnein Mòr is the highest peak in the Mamores, the range of mountains between Glen Nevis and Loch Leven in the Highlands of Scotland and lies five kilometres north north-east of Kinlochleven.

In Irish mythology, Bec (modern Irish Beag, meaning “small”) was one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. She was known for having a magic well, guarded by her three daughters.
