The Permian is a geologic period and system which extends from 298.9 to 252.17 million years ago. It is the last period of the Paleozoic, following the Carboniferous and preceding the Triassic of the Mesozoic.

In geology and related fields, a stratum (plural: strata) is a layer of sedimentary rock or soil with internally consistent characteristics that distinguish it from other layers.

Ingeborgfjellet is a mountain in Nordenskiöld Land in Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a height of 715 m with a secondary peak of 620 m.
