The US National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR, pronounced EN-car) is a US federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) managed by the nonprofit University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

A trail is usually a path, track or unpaved lane or road, though the term is also applied, in North America, to routes along rivers, and sometimes to highways.

In geology, a boulder is a rock fragment with size greater than 25.6 centimetres (10.1 in) in diameter.
