1000 or one thousand is the natural number following 999 and preceding 1001 in most English-speaking countries.

A waterfall is a place where water flows over a vertical drop in the course of a stream or river. Waterfalls also occur where meltwater drops over the edge of a tabular iceberg or ice shelf.

A lake (in Scotland a loch and in Ireland a lough) is an area (prototypically filled with water, also of variable size), localized in a basin, that is surrounded by land apart from any river or other outlet that serves to feed or drain the lake.
