Appropriate definitions, or not…

In botany, a tree is a perennial plant with an elongated stem, or trunk, supporting branches and leaves in most species.

A prince is a male ruler, monarch, or member of a monarch’s or former monarch’s family. Prince is a hereditary title in the nobility of some European states.

In common usage, theft is the taking of another person’s property without that person’s permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.

Sycamore is a name which is applied at various times and places to several different types of trees, but with somewhat similar leaf forms.
