Sunset or sundown, is the daily disappearance of the Sun below the western horizon as a result of Earth’s rotation.

A cape is a sleeveless outer garment, which drapes the wearers back, arms and chest, is open down the front and fastens at the neck.

A gorge or canyon (cañon, old spelling occasionally still used) is a deep ravine between pairs of escarpments or cliffs and is the most often carved landscape by the erosive activity of a river over geologic timescales.

Natland is village and civil parish about two miles (3 km) south of Kendal in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, close to the village of Oxenholme.
