Appropriate definitions, or not…

“While” is a word in the English language that functions both as a noun and as a subordinating conjunction.

Hiking is the preferred term, in Canada and the United States, for a long, vigorous walk, usually on trails (footpaths), in the countryside, while the word walking is used for shorter, particularly urban walks.

Juan is a given name, the Spanish language and Manx language version of John. It is very common in the Isle of Man and in Spain (its origin) and in Spanish-speaking communities around the world.

A trail is usually a path, track or unpaved lane or road, though the term is also applied, in North America, to routes along rivers, and sometimes to highways.
