The Westfjords or West Fjords (Icelandic: Vestfirðir, ISO 3166-2:IS: IS-4) is the name of a large peninsula in northwestern Iceland and an administrative district.

Flateyri is a village situated in Iceland’s Westfjords. With a population of approximately 237, it is the largest settlement in Önundarfjörður.
