We were tired when we reached the ~1120m mountain hut and we saw this hill called Siðull and the sun was going down. I decided to climb it before I rest for the evening and miss a chance for clear skies again. When I reached the top of Siðull, this view took my breath away. Iceland [OC][1920×1280]

Something you might not remember…

Were and wer are archaic terms for adult male humans and were often used for alliteration with wife as “were and wife” in Germanic-speaking cultures (Old English: were, German: Wehr, Dutch: weer, Gothic: waír, Old Frisian: wer, Old Saxon: wer, Old High German: wer, Old Norse: verr).

Point of sail is a term used to describe a sailing boat’s orientation in relation to the wind direction.
