A geyser (US /ˈɡaɪzər/; UK /ˈɡiːzə/ or /ˈɡaɪzə/) is a spring characterized by intermittent discharge of water ejected turbulently and accompanied by steam.

Several types of volcanic eruptions—during which lava, tephra (ash, lapilli, volcanic bombs and blocks), and assorted gases are expelled from a volcanic vent or fissure—have been distinguished by volcanologists.

Yellowstone National Park (Arapaho: Henihco’oo or Héetíhco’oo) is a national park located primarily in the U.S.

A park is an area of natural, semi-natural, or planted space set aside for human enjoyment and recreation or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats.
