A lake (in Scotland and Ireland, a loch) is an area (prototypically filled with water, also of variable size), localized in a basin, that is surrounded by land apart from any river or other outlet that serves to feed or drain the lake.

Laghi is a town and a comune in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. It is west of SP350. As of 2007 Laghi had an estimated population of 130. Though it is commonly known as the “smallest municipality of Veneto”, actually Laghi is ten times the area of the smallest one (Zermeghedo).

Fusine is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast of Milan and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) southwest of Sondrio.
