Back to school with the following…

Narrows is a term for restricted land or water passages. Most commonly it refers to a strait, though it can also refer to a water gap.

Zion (Hebrew: צִיּוֹן‎ Ṣiyyôn), also transliterated Sion, Syon, Tzion or Tsion, is a place name often used as a synonym for Jerusalem.

A gorge or canyon (cañon, old spelling occasionally still used) is a deep ravine between pairs of escarpments or cliffs and is the most often carved landscape by the erosive activity of a river over geologic timescales.
